~Announcement~
It with great joy that we announces the call of Rev. Dwayne Banks as the new pastor of Poplar Head Baptist Church. We welcome Pastor Dwayne, his wife, Laurie, and his two sons, J.J. and Brunson to the PHBC family and to the community.
Pastor Dwayne comes to us from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama near his home town of Odenville, Alabama. His wife, Laurie, is a native of Calhoun County. They met, got engaged, and were married at Poplar Head Baptist Church and we are thrilled to welcome them home.
We can't wait to begin this new season in the life of our church as we turn our focus to the future, believing that God has a big calling and great things in store for Poplar Head Baptist Church. To God be the glory!

Church is open
We are taking necessary precautions but we are fully back to church. We have our in-person services at 10:45 and Sunday school at 9:45. Also, join us for Wednesday night power worship @ 6:30. All ages have classes available! We would be happy to have you view FaceBook Live services at 10:45 on Sundays
